Amber L. Poff is an associate attorney at Friedman & Associates P.C. and practices in the areas of Family Law and Elder Law.

Ms. Poff is an Honors Graduate of Bethel College (B.A. in Pre-Art Therapy) and a 2013 graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law. During her two and a half years at Valparaiso Law, Ms. Poff was active with the Women Law Student Association, the Valparaiso University Tax Clinic and Valparaiso University’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Poff took on the role of Coordinator for Michiana Adult Advocacy, a program which provides guardianship for over 40 incapacitated adults in LaPorte County. During her tenure with Michiana, she has restructured the program and secured state and local grants to ensure continued operation of the program, as well as become a Nationally Certified Guardian. Ms. Poff is a regular participant in the Indiana Adult Guardianship State Task Force, whose efforts have been instrumental in guardianship legislative reform.

Ms. Poff was born in Michigan City, Indiana and is admitted to practice in Indiana. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, LaPorte County Bar Association and National Guardianship Association.
